Delete your Factorybook account

1. From the app

1. Open Factorybook on your phone or at factorybook.in and sign in.
2. Tap your profile picture (top right).
3. Tap Delete my account, then Send deletion request.
4. Your email app opens with the request filled in — send it.

2. Without the app

Email privacy@factorybook.in with the subject "Delete my Factorybook account", from the email address your account uses. If you can't use that address, tell us the account email and company name and we'll verify it's you before deleting anything.

3. What we delete

• Your account: your login, name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
• If you're the only admin of your company's workspace: the whole workspace — orders, customers, suppliers, products, stock, production logs, credit entries, imported contacts and every uploaded photo and document — unless you ask us to hand it to another member first.
• If your company has other admins: your account is removed; the company's business records stay with the company, since they belong to it. Records you entered stay part of the company's records.

4. What we keep, and for how long

We delete within 30 days of your request. Copies in our encrypted backups are overwritten within a further 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example, records of our own billing to you), and only for as long as it requires.

5. Deleting only some data

You don't have to delete your account to remove data: customers, orders, products and uploaded files can each be deleted inside the app. To have specific data erased from our systems, email privacy@factorybook.in and say what to remove.
